The victims of a triple stabbing in Oakland early Monday morning that left three women in critical condition included a pregnant woman who was forced to undergo an emergency caesarian section, police said today. Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said today one of the victims was six months pregnant and that her infant is now in critical condition at Oakland Children’s Hospital.The stabbing was reported around 4:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of 97th Avenue. Arriving officers found three women suffering from multiple stab wounds, Thomason said. The women are now listed in critical but stable condition at a local hospital, Thomason said.Police detained the suspect nearby after the stabbing and later arrested him for his alleged involvement in the crime. The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Christian Valencia, of Guatemala.Police are encouraging anyone with information on the stabbing to call the Oakland Police Department’s homicide section at (510) 238-3821.
