Morgan Hill police arrested a man and woman Wednesday in connection with the burglary of rifles from a Big 5 store in Morgan Hill earlier in the month.Ramiro Lozano, 34, and Roxanne Villabrille, 35, both of San Jose, were arrested for the burglary, which took place at about 8:50 a.m. on March 12 at the Big 5 Sporting Goods store on Cochrane Road, according to Morgan Hill police.An investigation by police discovered that the suspects had cut through the wall of an adjacent vacant building and reached through the hole to steal seven rifles Police received an anonymous tip that Lozano and Villabrille were responsible for the burglary, according to Sgt. Jerry Neumayer. Neumayer said police got a warrant for a home on Fontanelle Drive where the suspects live. Police entered the home later in the day on March 12 and found 37 marijuana plants and various stolen property, but did not find the suspects, he said.During the course of the investigation, police eventually located Lozano, who was stopped at about 3 p.m. in a vehicle leaving a home in the area of King Road and Burdette Drive in San Jose, Neumayer said.Authorities then went to the home of Lozano and Villabrille on Fontanelle Drive in San Jose and arrested Villabrille.Both suspects were transported to the Morgan Hill Police Department before being booked into Santa Clara County jail.Lozano was arrested for multiple counts of grand theft, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana for sale, cultivating marijuana, and possession of a weapon, and his bail was set at $1 million, according to police.Villabrille was arrested for possession of stolen property, cultivating marijuana, and possession of marijuana for sale.Anyone with information about the burglary is encouraged to contact Morgan Hill police at (408) 779-2101
