*East Palo Alto Man Found Shot In The Back At 2068 Pulgas Ave

East Palo Alto police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a Menlo Park man critically injured.The shooting happened at about 12:15 a.m. in the 2000 block of Pulgas Avenue. Residents reported the shooting and police were also alerted by the city’s ShotSpotter system, which indicated that eight or nine shots had been fired in the area. Officers located a 43-year-old man on a porch at 2068 Pulgas Ave. suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower right part of his back. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
