Officers on Tuesday arrested a suspected auto thief after he allegedly rammed a police car during a vehicle pursuit through two East Bay cities, according to the Antioch Police Department. Police reported locating a 1994 Honda Civic listed as stolen near G and Madill Streets at about 2:45 p.m. Officers initiated a pursuit when the vehicle fled on to state Highway 4, according to police.The vehicle, allegedly driven by 27-year-old Antioch resident Richard Dominguez, was pursued into the city of Pittsburg and back to Antioch, where the Honda became disabled near the city limits. Police reported that in a final attempt to escape, Dominguez intentionally rammed his vehicle into a marked patrol car. The Honda became immobilized shortly after the collision, and Dominguez was arrested, according to police.No injuries resulted from the pursuit, police reported.Dominguez, wanted by police on a parole warrant, was arrested for auto theft, felony evading and assault on a police officer and was booked at the Contra Costa County Martinez Detention Facility.
