El Cerrito police arrested three Richmond teenagers Tuesday for allegedly robbing one person and burglarizing two homes, Detective Cpl. Susan Garman said today.Police received a call at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday reporting prowlers in the 1700 block of Ganges Avenue.Officers responded and found three Richmond residents, 18-year-old Keithia Heidelberg and two boys, ages 14 and 15, in the area. They also allegedly found evidence that the trio had tried to break into the house where they had been seen prowling, Garman said.During a search of the three suspects and their homes, police allegedly found property belonging to the victims of two residential burglaries and a strong-arm robbery, all of which happened in El Cerrito, Garman said.In both of the burglaries, the suspects had allegedly cut screens and entered the homes through open windows, Garman said.All three suspects were arrested. Heidelberg was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility and the two boys were taken to juvenile hall. According to Garman, police have dealt with Heidelberg on previous occasions with other groups of young males.
