*Monterey Co. Miguel Lozano and Gustavo Lozano, Arrested After Threatening Victims With Knife

A 21-year-old man and 29-year-old man were arrested after allegedly trying to kick down the front door of a home and threatening a woman with a knife on Saturday night, according to the Monterey County  Sheriff’s Office.The incident took place at about 10:05 p.m. Saturday at 10640 Seymour Street in unincorporated Monterey County near Castroville, according to the sheriff’s office.Miguel Lozano, 21, and Gustavo Lozano, 29, allegedly tried to kick down the front door of the home, and a female victim was outside the home when one of the suspects pulled out a knife, according to the sheriff’s office.The victim said she was afraid for her safety and the safety of her family, and that the suspect said he was trying to scare a male victim inside the home with the knife, according to the sheriff’s office.The suspects allegedly threatened the victims by saying they knew where they lived and that they would return later, according to the sheriff’s office.Both suspects were taken into custody, and one of them was under the influence of alcohol, according to the sheriff’s office.
