*Fremont Police Release Photos Of Suspects In Beating Of 75-Year-Old Women

Police in Fremont have released images of a suspect wanted for brutally beating and robbing a 75-year-old woman this week.Around 4:15 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a home on PagosaWay where a Milpitas woman had been kicked, punched and dragged into the street, according to the Fremont Police Department.The suspect reportedly followed the victim from a Bank of America branch in Warm Springs before beating her and stealing her purse, which contained $1,000 in cash, police said.After the attack, the suspect fled in a dark-colored sedan toward Scott Creek Road.The victim suffered bruises and cuts to her face, and was taken to a hospital, police said.Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact Fremontpolice Detective Mike Tegner at (510) 790-6900.
