Robbery University Way And Garden Drive, San Jose

The San Jose police Department is asking for Fugitive Watch viewers help in identifying the suspect in this photo. According to Detective Keith Mizuhara, on Friday May 23rd 2008 at about 11pm an armed robbery occurred on University Way and Garden Drive, San Jose the two victims were walking on University towards Garden Drive. The suspect approached the victims from behind brandishing a small, black handgun. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallets. The suspect ordered the victims to the ground and fled in an unknown direction. Later that night, at approximately 11:45 pm, about 30 minutes after the initial robbery both of the victims’ ATM cards were used at the Bank of the West located at 3888 Stevens Creek Rd., San Jose.
Surveillance photos taken from the ATM show possibly a Black, male, adult using the victim’s ATM card. The suspect appears to be wearing a black cap and large aviator type sunglasses. There appears to be a gold circular type logo on the upper left chest of the suspect’s jacket.
