San Jose police today are searching for two vehicles that should be damaged after being involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 77-year-old woman Monday morning, Officer Jermaine Thomas said. Hue Thi Duong of San Jose was walking on McKee Road and Capitol Avenue when a black four-door vehicle struck her while coming out of a nearby shopping center, Thomas said. The impact threw Duong into the westbound lanes of McKee Road where she was struck by another vehicle, police said. Investigators believe Duong was dragged a quarter- to a half-mile down the road. Her body was discovered at about 6:10 a.m. near an Interstate Highway 680 offramp to McKee Road, according to police.Thomas said the vehicle that dragged Duong should have major damage to its front end and windshield, and urged the public to look for any vehicles matching that description. He said the driver of the black four-door vehicle has also not been located.Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call San Jose police Investigator Mike O’Brien at (408) 277-4654.
