* Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Sexual Assault Suspect

Alameda County Sheriff’s officials said today they are looking for a 33-year-old man who allegedly sexually assaulted a girl when she was under the age of 14.Sgt. J.D. Nelson said there is a felony no-bail warrant for Ricardo Gonzalez, who is a suspected member of the Sureno street gang and is thought to be hiding in the Oakland area.He described Gonzalez as a Hispanic male who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 135 pounds with short black hair, a moustache, brown eyes and tattoos on both of his upper arms. He said Gonzalez has made threats to harm the victim for cooperating with law enforcement and has also said he will flee to Mexico, where he has family ties.Nelson said the victim was 11 years old when the alleged crimes occurred but is now an adult and recently came forward to sheriff’s
detectives to tell them what happened to her.The alleged crimes occurred in an unincorporated area of Alameda County, according to Nelson.He said anyone with information about Gonzalez’s whereabouts should call Sgt. Raymond Kelly at (510) 667-3657, Det. Sean McMillan at (510) 667-3668.
