*Oakland Five Injured In Four Shootings Saturday Night And This Morning

Five people are injured and three others in custody after a series of shootings in Oakland on Saturday night and this morning, according to the Police Department.Two victims were shot during a home invasion robbery around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Ninth Street, police said.One of the victims was shot in the back and suffered life threatening injuries, according to police. The other victim was shot in the hand and is expected to survive.Three suspects were taken into custody in connection with that shooting, police said.Around 1:20 a.m. today, a person was shot in the leg and self-transported to a local hospital. That person was listed in stable condition, according to police.Another person was shot in the ankle and thigh around 3 a.m. in the 9000 block of Bancroft Avenue, and at about 3:30 a.m. a fifth person was shot in the face during an attempted robbery in the 5800 block of
International Boulevard, police said.
