Ernesto Ignacio Madrigal is Wanted For Fraud

The San Jose Police Department and the US Secret Service are currently seeking Ernesto Ignacio Madrigal. Detective Christopher Hardin reports that between 11/08/07 and 03/26/08 a suspect entered several Fry’s Electronics locations and Apple Stores in the greater bay area and used several credit cards issued from France and Germany. The suspect was able to acquire more than $7,5000.00 in electronics using fraudulent credit cards. On 03/03/08, the same suspect was arrested in the Pleasanton Apple Store and was positively identified as the same suspect making the fraudulent purchases at Fry’s. The suspect had allegedly victimized Apple for over $87,000.00. Madrigal’s was last known to be living in the 19000 block of John Drive in Castro Valley, California and he was last known to be driving a late model black Range Rover or Lincoln Pickup truck with large rims and unknown license plates. This story make no sense. He committed crimes between 11/07 and 03/26/08 and was arrested and identified as a thief o 03/03/08 – so why are we looking for him? Why isn’t he just in jail?
