The Albany Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the persons in these surveillance photos. Detective Tom Dalter reports that on March 24th 2008 at approximately 8:20pm the these suspects entered the Albany Target. Suspect #1 is wanted on several other similar cases from the Albany and Hayward Target Stores. The suspect’s normally enter the stores, select flat panel TVs off of the shelf, and flee the store via the emergency exits with the TVs. On this date Suspect 1 and Suspect 2 each selected a TV, and fled the store. Suspect 3 was a lookout, and exited the store from the front door. He is also possibly the driver of the getaway vehicle. The vehicle in question is a silver Suzuki or Isuzu SUV, which is was stolen from Seattle, Washington. The license plate is # 047WLV. This vehicle was the getaway vehicle during all of the crimes. On this date Albany police officers attempted to stop the vehicle and suspects as they fled the store. The front passenger door handle to the vehicle was ripped off by officers as they attempted to open the vehicle door. The suspects led officers on a high-speed pursuit. It appeared as though the Washington license plates have been removed, and the vehicle now has paper plates on it. Officers pursued the vehicle but had to abandon the pursuit for the safety of the public. Suspect 1 is the common person in all of the cases. Each time there seems to be other accomplices. Suspect 2 is an older Black male adult, probably in his 60’s. He has a very similar face to Suspect 1, and could possibly suspect 1’s father. Suspect 3 was observed by officers leaving the store, and is described as 5-8/5-9, 150 pounds. Please call the Fugitive Watch Hot Line at 1-800-9-CAUGHT if you know the names of these men.
