Panhandler Allegedly Stabs Victim when told “No”

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department is asking for your help in identifying the person in this police sketch. Detectives report that on December 18 at approximately 5:45 pm this suspect was panhandling in the area of the Hillside market at 3100 Monterey Road. The suspect allegedly assaulted and stabbed a patron of the market when he was told “no”to his request for money. The suspect fled the scene on foot and has been identified as a “regular” panhandling in the area. The victim described him as Hispanic (he spoke Spanish) with a medium complexion and collar length brown hair. 6’6” or 6’6” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds.
