Road Rage in San Jose Turns to Assault

07-034.jpgThe San Jose Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the person in this police sketch. Detective Jason Tanner reports that on December 16th 2006 at 6:24PM, the victim was driving in downtown San Jose with his wife when he became involved in a “road rage” incident with another driver. When the suspect drove too close to the victim’s car, the victim honked his horn, which upset the suspect. As the two drivers pulled away from a downtown hotel, the suspect got out of his car and approached the victim on foot. The victim rolled down his window to speak to the suspect and the suspect then punched the victim repeatedly through the open car window. The victim sustained facial fractures that required plastic surgery. The suspect was driving a dark green mid-90’s Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe, 4-door with a partial California license plate ending in ____655 or ____665.

The suspect is described as an unknown Black Male Adult, 30-40 years, 6-2, 200+ pounds, short dark hair, brown eyes, well-built/muscular. Please call the Fugitive atch Hot Line at 1-800-9-CAUGHT if you know the name of this man.
