The San Jose Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the person in this police sketch. Detective Jason Tanner reports that on July 30th 2006, at about 10:00pm, a victim was walking on Virginia Street near Palm Street. This suspect confronted the victim and knocked him to the ground. The suspect then severely beat and kicked the victim until the victim became unconscious. The suspect then walked away westbound on Virginia Street. The victim in this case remains hospitalized in serious condition. The suspect is described as a 30 to 40 year old Hispanic male about 5-8, with a medium stocky build and short salt and pepper hair.
