The Menlo Park Police Department is asking for Fugitive Watch viewers help in identifying the men in this police sketch. Detective Bill Massey reports that on September 20, 2004 at approximately 1:50 pm, several suspects fired approximately five shots at another vehicle at the intersection of Bayfront Expressway and University Avenue in Menlo Park. The victims in this case were uninjured, but escaped being shot by only inches. The only motive for the shooting at this time appears to be a traffic altercation that began prior to crossing the Dumbarton Bridge westbound towards Menlo Park from the East Bay. The victims were able to provide a sketch artist with enough detail to create the sketches above. The sketches depict only the driver and passenger of the vehicle, but it is believed that other subjects were inside the vehicle at the time. The suspects were described as Black Male Adults in their early to mid-twenties. The passenger wore a baseball style hat with multiple colors on it and prescription style eyeglasses. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer gold or tan colored minivan with tinted windows on the rear and sides.
